Plaintiff was a 24 year old welder at the time of the accident.

DESCRIPTION OF CASE

At the time of the accident, Plaintiff was working at a project that consisted of the construction of a twelve story building in the Bronx. As Plaintiff was climbing a ladder to take measurements on top of an elevator shaft, the ladder slipped out from underneath him causing him to fall 10-12 feet.

DAMAGES

As a result of the accident Plaintiff suffered a fracture to the lower left leg and injuries to the left knee requiring multiple surgical procedures.

VERDICT/SETTLEMENT AMOUNT

The matter was settled during a mediation for $1,725,000.00.
